^Lot 991 Colt Baby Dragoon .31 Cal #17367

'The Authentic Colt Blackpowder Series' 2nd generation reproduction of the Baby Dragoon. A single action percussion revolver chambered for .31 caliber ammunition, and manufactured circa 1979-1984. It features a 4" octagon barrel, brass cone front sight, 'V' notched rear sight cut in the hammer nose, checkered hammer spur, unfluted five-shot cylinder with roll-engraved battle scene, no loading lever, silver plated square-back triggerguard, smooth silver plated backstrap, and one-piece smooth walnut grip. The silver plating on the trigger guard and backstrap are in very good condition with a blemish on the front strap, and the finish is turning dark. The color-case hardened finish on the frame and hammer is in excellent condition. The bluing on the barrel and cylinder has approximately 99% of the finish remaining with no observed blemishes.The action is smooth and crisp. The bore, rifling, and cylinder are in excellent condition. This firearm includes a factory cardboard box with fitted insert, and paperwork. The overall condition is excellent with few signs of handling.
